Slovenian winemaking is built on small-scale, boutique production where passion and heritage outweigh mass volume. Is food served during the wine walk?

Yes! The wine tastings are paired with artisanal local bites, including regional cold cuts, cheeses, freshly baked bread, and gourmet oils. While these snacks nicely complement the wines, this is a tasting tour rather than a full multi-course dinner.

What is the small surprise spirits tasting?

As a special treat at the end of our wine journey, you'll get to try a mini tasting of authentic Slovenian spirits (žganje)—specifically sweet homemade blueberry liqueur (borovničke) and rich walnut liqueur (orehovec).

What happens if it rains?

The tour runs rain or shine! Walking distances between the 3 wine bars are very short (under 1.5 km total) and completely flat. If it rains, we simply enjoy more time inside the cozy ambiance of the venues. Just bring an umbrella or light raincoat.
